LO2: Merit Criteria

This episode we have created is fit for purpose as we have follow the main convention of a soap opera really well. As we have fit the purpose of the episode, I think the intended audience of the show would watch it as has relatable stories and characters. The proposed scheduling time was 9pm which is after watershed, I think the planning time is perfect for the show as it does have adult content that would be unable to be shown before watershed. This proposed schedule time is also good as it will aim to the time that our target audience will be still be tuning in to shows. The narrative is about relationships, friendships and drama, this fits perfectly with the theme of teenage soap opera which is what we wanted to achieve.
